Fare-dodging and terrorism, the newly discovered link
You really sometimes couldn't make it up. Conservative ex-minister of higher education in France, Valérie Pécresse, just announced her analysis of the terrorist attacks:
"Security means changing the way we look at things: as soon as someone starts fare dodging in the metro, that means they think there are no rules. One of the terrorists was filmed going into the metro without a ticket. That's where it starts."
This sounds like it's straight out of a parody magazine, but not at all : here is the link
